On April 29th, the Nanjing Municipal Celebration of International Labor Day and the City Labor Model Commendation Conference was held at the Workers' Cultural Palace. As a tech-oriented private company, Dang Jianbing has always adhered to the core value of "Innovation is the primary driving force." The company's investment in R&D has increased year by year, accounting for more than 10% of its operating income in 2024. Facing the risks and challenges of "innovation is a risk; not innovating is waiting for death," Dang Jianbing has led Jiuwu Hi-tech to create the “Jiuwu Model” on the path of independent innovation and technological self-reliance.

In terms of new materials, Jiuwu Hi-tech's high-filled column ceramic membranes have been successfully applied in municipal water and mine water fields and have been highly recognized by customers. The silicon carbide ceramic membrane has been successfully developed and is ready for large-scale production. The lithium adsorbent has been continuously iterated, with an adsorption capacity 30%-50% higher than the third-generation adsorbent, and has been successfully put into industrial application.

In the application field, Jiuwu Hi-tech completed the world's first ten-thousand-ton salt lake full-membrane lithium extraction project in 2018; in 2020, it completed the world's first waste salt separation and acid-base resource utilization project; in 2022, it established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Tibet Jiuwu New Material Technology Co., Ltd., in Golmud, Qinghai; in 2023, a production line with an annual output of 6,000 tons of lithium adsorbent was officially put into operation, creating the "Jiuwu speed" in the industry.

In terms of corporate honors, Jiuwu Hi-tech was awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award for the fourth time in 2019.

In 2021, the company was named the leading enterprise in ceramic membranes in China's membrane industry and won the title of Manufacturing Single Champion in the same year.

In 2023, it was awarded the honor of "Excellent Enterprise of Jiangsu Province" by the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.

The rapid development of Jiuwu Hi-tech is inseparable from the support of customers. Dang Jianbing has integrated the concept of "the customer is the primary service object" into the company's values. He often visits project sites to communicate with customers and extends his regards to Jiuwu's workers on-site.

In 2023, Jiuwu Hi-tech won the bid for the comprehensive utilization project for the old brine lithium extraction (5,000 tons/year) at Xinjiang Lop Nur Salt Lake. In about ten months, Jiuwu Hi-tech completed all the work for the project, demonstrating its strong capabilities in project design, supply, installation, commissioning, and operation. The owner also sent a letter of thanks, highly praising the efforts of Jiuwu Hi-tech employees on this project.

At the National Investment Rock Potash project site, Dang Jianbing entered the production workshop and control room to gain a detailed understanding of the company's product operations and thanked the owner for their trust and support.

From Xinjiang to Qinghai, Jiuwu people always put the customer first. During the 2022 Qinghai Golmud Tibet Jiuwu lithium adsorbent production line project construction, Jiuwu people advanced into the 3,000-meter plateau, creating "plateau speed" under extreme conditions, completing the entire process from site selection to production within half a year. They overcame numerous difficulties to ensure the project was completed on time and with high quality.

Building a Talent System

Achieving "Self-Blood Generation" for the Enterprise

The development of an enterprise cannot be separated from the support of professional talents. Jiuwu Hi-tech attaches great importance to the introduction and cultivation of talents. Every year during graduation season, the company recruits graduates as a vital force for its development through campus recruitment platforms. It also attracts specialized talents through social recruitment channels to join the Jiuwu Hi-tech team.

Currently, Jiuwu Hi-tech has 85 personnel with intermediate and senior professional titles and 73 personnel with master's degrees or higher, forming a professional talent team. Besides, Jiuwu Hi-tech collaborates closely with more than ten universities and scientific research institutions, establishing a research and innovation team of over 100 people. They have undertaken more than 20 national and provincial-level scientific research projects and won over 30 science and technology awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, laying a solid foundation for the company's new materials R&D and application in ceramic membranes, organic membranes, and adsorbents.

In 2023, Jiuwu Hi-tech successfully obtained approval for the national postdoctoral research workstation.
